Do I have to take my bike?

For the GIANT VIP TOUR and for the FISH & WINE ROUTE we will provide you with a GIANT at no extra cost. Therefore, it is not necessary to bring your own bike, although you may if you wish.

In the Transpyrenean and in the rest of our trips you must bring your bike, but if you want you can hire a GIANT for 150 €.

Are the excursions tough?

No, they are within the reach are any habitual cyclist. It’s true that there are some tough climbs on the TRANSPYRENEAN and in some of the others trips, but as we are in no hurry, anybody who has trained reasonably well can take part.

Will there be professional cyclists on the trip?

Abraham Olano(World Champion and winner of the Vuelta a España) will accompany us on some stages during each trip. What’s more, we’ll be inviting other ex-riders to join us, for example the three times winner of the Vuelta a España, Roberto Heras.

What do I need to take?

On the GIANT VIP TOUR and on The FISH & WINE ROUTE we’ll give you a free bag with cycling clothes (cycling jersey, shorts, etc.), although it may be a good idea to bring more just in case it gets cold (gloves, rain jacket etc.).

What you must bring is your helmet and shoes. If you don’t use Shimano pedals, bring your own with you.

For the rest of the trips you should bring enough clothes for all conditions (and your bike, of course). Remember that the weather in the Pyrenees is very changeable and it can get cold.

Can somebody come with me if they are not going to cycle?

On the GIANT VIP TOUR and the FISH & WINE ROUTE companions are welcome and can sign up for the holidays under the same conditions as the riders for a slightly lower price (consult us). While the group cycles they can join us in the van or sightsee around the area.

On the TRANSPYRENEAN unfortunately there is insufficient space for companions.

What happens if I arrive a day early?

If you have to arrive a day early due to flight times or leave a day later, let us know and we’ll find you accommodation at a good price.

Do I need travel insurance?

Although insurance for accidents is included for the time you’re with us on the GIANT VIP TOUR and the FISH & WINE ROUTE, we reccomeend you take out private travel insurance. On the rest of the trips the insurance is not included.

What happens if I have to cancel my trip?

You must let us know as soon as possible. Depending on the date you will be charged a part or all of the money you’ve paid (as indicated in the CONDITIONS section). However, if we manage to cover your place 30 days before the trip you will not be charged anything.
